Serengeti Splendor in the early morning light
A memorable birthday spent in the Serengeti starting with a spectacular sunrise and early morning game drive.
My first thought when I saw this challenge was an image of the sunset. Why? where is the connect to Early Morning and Early Bird? I think it is the anticipation. Once the sun sets, the dawning of a new day with infinite possibilities approaches. What will the new day bring? As the morning light spreads it reveals the day to come. This particular day just kept getting better and better!

Thank you! We absolutely loved South Island! We truly wish Christchurch all the best in their rebuild efforts. Hoping to go back and explore North Island next time perhaps 🙂

I hope you make it back. Christchurch makes me a little sad now when I return as it was such a stunning city. The rebuild is a massive very long long term process.

Its definitely challenging, to write in the way the daily prompts want. Its appropriately titled writing exercise to change the way you usually write and the fellow bloggers are supportive. I’m a little behind this week but I will play catch up during the weekend.

Yes the time factor might prove a bit tricky for me but am very keen to give it a go!

Yes give it a go , there’s no pressure to do them all, except the pressure I put on myself and thinking of how to apply the prompts to the blog subject. So sometimes that keeps me from being on time.

lol, I think it will have my head spinning in all direction with my mind leaping hurdles, finding it interesting looking at the challenges and the different takes so many people have on the same topic. I am pretty good at going off on major tangents!

Looking at how other people tackle it does help focus me , usually the description isn’t enough. but like the posts with the daily post prompts, they provide examples. Like now I’m trying to write a post about loss to be written in three parts that pertains to my blog.. not one clue. Lol

Thank you so much. It was a spectacular morning. I only have a small canon point and shoot. I didn’t take my SLR ( is that what the big fellow is called) I used the vivid setting and it really brings out the colours of the sunrise.
