Off center, off balance, out of one’s comfort zone, to me these are some of the most exciting things about traveling!
When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable. – Clifton Fadiman
I learn so many new things, meet new people try new foods, try things I never dreamed of doing. I make careful plans and then instead of staying center and steady, I veer off course and end up in a completely different country. Best plans come unstuck!
This street performer was in Las Ramblas, Barcelona. He looks completely off balance with no center of gravity. To this day I can’t figure out what optical illusion helped him achieve this!
I find without my travel fix I feel off center and out of sorts.
You lose sight of things….and when you travel everything balances out – Daranna Gidel
So happy travels people, I hope even if you feel off center you are loving it!

Thanks to The Snow Melts Somewhere for thinking of me in a quote challenge. The quotes are dedicated to her ( funny I am assuming her? )

Yes, it’s a “her” 😀 I like your post and especially the first quote. And that guy in the picture puzzles me as well!
I don’t get it, either, Leanne, but it’s truly amazing and enjoyable.
