My first trip to Africa was in the from of an overland truck safari. I started in Zambia at the Victoria fall and traveled through Botswana, Namibia and South Africa to end up in Cape town.
At the time my head was full of Lion King images, it was all about the animals and game drives. I am not sure that in terms of word association water would have popped up.
I found myself awestruck by the silvery Zambezi River at sunset, the powerful Victoria Falls, the pristine Okavango Delta, the Skeleton Coast where the Atlantic meets the desert and the Cape of Good Hope.

Amazing captures of the many contrasting landscapes Africa has on offer. Looks like you had the trip of a lifetime! Have you been back to visit other countries?

Thanks Celia. Yes I have been to Tanzania since. I had a brief but amazing experience at a children’s home there. I would love to get back there and volunteer one day.
