Whirling and Twirling

Tornadoes are a weather pattern I have never experienced nor photographed and I have no wish to be a tornado chaser in my future. As I pondered my response to the OWPC challenge topic – Tornado, the phrase ” a whirlwind of activity” came to mind. With that my mind started to spin and like a tornado gained momentum.

Memories of joyous whirling twirling dances came to mind. Dances I had captured on camera. Like a tornado these dancers twirled and whirled and gained momentum, they displayed a powerful energy. Unlike the angry and destructive and often fatal tornado, these dancers expounded a joyful and positive exciting energy and a great love of life.

  3. Thank You Jennifer. This challenge really had me challenged for a bit as I had nothing more literal. When I get stuck like that, I tend to start going through all sorts of word association and adjectives and that’s where the whirling and movement and energy ides came up.
