Morrinsville, the cow capital of New Zealand in the Waikato. Morrinsville is a service town for the surrounding dairy farms. After completing the 3 day Hauraki Rail Trail cycle ride, “the awesome foursome” stopped here for lunch. It was a drizzly old day but I enjoyed exploring the main street looking for the various cow sculptures dotted around on intersections. Different local business sponsor a themed cow. They were quirky and fun. Come “mooooo zee” along with me and check these girls out.
The Kiwiana Cow was fun, bright, colourful and decorated with the flora and fauna of New Zealand.
