One of my favourite cooking classes was making Kyara Ben or Character Obentou. Obentou is a packed lunch in Japan. Character Obentou are very popular especially with mums of little ones. I imagine the “Mummy Obentou” scene can get very competitive. It is worth a google. There are some incredibly creative people making luches out there! Check out my efforts.

a oncer or maybe party food for friend’s kids for me but some Japanese mums do it everyday!
