Doors and Windows of a Melaka Canal

Malaysia is an easy and cheap destination from Tokyo. It is a great place to go for a bit of R&R.

This trip took me to Melaka a beautiful place with a long trading history aand wonderful little streets to wander.

These pictures were taken along a canal. The wonderful murals embrace the doors and windows. The murals tell a story of the local culture, dress and cuisine and one can only imagine family life behind the doors. As I admired the houses I wonder if anyone saw me from one of the many windows?
