NZ made by dad!

This wee trinket is not really something I would buy but it is super special to me. My dad made this wise wee owl. He collected the pinecone and the beach wood, varnished it and put it all together.

It is all the more special to me now, as my dad is beginning to struggle with his health and memory. While his memory begins to wane, this little chap holds memories of my dad in his workshop, fixing and making things. He was always my “go to” man.
