Homemade -Trinkets and Memories #33

Being a big fan of several Photo Challenges, I am now hosting one myself. I would love it if you could take part! This is the 33rd week to date.  Please click here for the challenge outline. Please post a link to your post on this page and I will make sure I put it on my challenge page for others to see too!

I look forward to checking out your posts!

So without further adieu here is my 33rd trinket

This wee trinket is not really something I would buy but it is super special to me. My dad made this wise wee owl. He collected the pinecone and the beach wood, varnished it and put it all together.

It is all the more special to me now, as my dad is beginning to struggle with his health and memory. While his memory begins to wane, this little chap holds memories of my dad in his workshop, fixing and making things. He was always my “go to” man.

Love you dad.

I am not the only one with trinkets, Please check out this lovely memory and trinket of my fellow blogger, traveller and regular participant. Thank you Teri!
