Purple Blooms

These water lily snaps were taken in Macau. I remember as a child visiting an old great aunt. She had the most lumpy bed I have ever experienced! But the real memory is the wonder I experienced when I saw water lilies for the first time, in a pond in her garden. I was enthralled by how the flowers opened in the sunshine and then closed up again at night.
