One of the most stunning images I have seen today has to be Sara Zancotti’s image of an iguana sunning itself in its incredible vibrant glory on the beach. Please go and check it out! you won’t be disappointed.
It made me think of this incredibly vibrant little fellow who I met when completing entry permits to enter the Serengeti National Game park in Tanzania. He was our first game sighting in the park and what a spectacular one at that. He is a Mwanza flat-headed rock agama.

If he was a horse I would have to say he was a real show pony! Maybe he is a lounge lizard all decked out for a night out with the ladies!
