Another Gecko! Trinkets and Memories #37

Being a big fan of several Photo Challenges, I am now hosting one myself. I would love it if you could take part! This is the 37th week to date.  Please click here for the challenge outline. Please post a link to your post on this page and I will make sure I put it on my challenge page for others to see too!

I look forward to checking out your posts!

So without further adieu here is my 37th trinket

Gecko

I did mention last week that I do love wee Geckos. This is one of my favourites. It was a gift from my dear friend, K. K and I go way back to boarding school, where we both started at 13years of age. We have had many travel adventures together and met the odd gecko or two along the way! We have climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, visited Zanzibar, done a Safari in Tanzinia, ridden camels in the Sahara, travelled through Morroco and Spain, Paddled 100kms along the Wanganui River, done a cycling trip, done tall sailing in Australia and an outback safari and K has visited me in Japan several times.

I look at this wee fellow and memories of my adventures with K come flooding back and the anticipation of more to come is a warm glow and a wee gecko chirp for good measure!

  1. Hi! I haven’t given up on the trinkets challenge… I’ve had a terrible case of “The Crud” for almost 3 weeks. Just starting to feel like myself again and will be posting up a trinket this weekend. And btw… your gecko is adorable!
