The Norsk Folkmuseum in Oslo is well worth a visit. It has a great collection of exhibits and a wonderful outdoor collection of old buildings constructed in the old way. These two barns were for stock and feed. I can just imagine the old man below, storing his cart in the barn and feeding and watering his horse after a day’s work.

I saw the Viking Ship Museum when I was there in the 70’s, but not this. Love the buildings in the first shot and the last photo.

I’ll be in Oslo this summer and this is one of the places on my list to go and see. Lovely images, thank you for sharing them.

I am sure you will enjoy it. We also loved the Viking ship museum, the Vigeland Sculpture park and the Munch Museum. Oslo was a great city to explore

Yes, those are on my list. At the top of that list is the zip line on Holmenkollen ski jump – should be awesome! I’m half Norwegian so have been quite a few times but I don’t know Oslo too well, looking forward to a few days in full on tourist mode!
