Along the canals of Brugge

Brugge is a beautiful Dutch town of great cultural significance and architectural beauty. The town center has glorious gothic buildings and a marvellous atmosphere. It has been named a UNESCO Heritage site

I spent a full day there enjoying the old town and strolling along the canals. It made great photographic fodder for Cee’s Building and Trees challenge this week.

PS check out this post by Where’s Noodles and her tips for a festive weekend in Brugge. I now have the urge to get back there in Winter!

    • Thank you! I loved the windmills in Brugge. It seemed like the quintissential Holland! You can’t go to Holland and not see windmills! I have one more stunner coming up on my photo blog, not a windmill but a beautiful Brugge pic
. It scheduled for Sunday so please keep an eye out for it!
