Surprise! More Geckos!
These wee fellows come from my first foray to Africa. I did a 3 week overland truck safari from Zambia down through Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. I bought these wee fellows at a road side stall. This beaded work with wire is quite common through out Africa. You often see it on bronze wire. I heard this was a problem for the telephone industry as their lines used this wire and it was often stripped. Urban myth or misinformation? I’m not sure but was something I heard. If you have been following my trinkets I guess you have figured out I have quite a thing for these wee geckos!
